Advancement of Computing - Data Science, Undergraduate Certificate

The Undergraduate Certificate in the Advancement of Computing - Data Science (AdvComputing-DS) is designed for individuals seeking to develop marketable skills grounded in Data Science principles. Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will have gained a mastery of advanced skills to build a career in the area of Data Science.   

The Undergraduate Certificate in Advancement of Computing - Data Science will prepare students to:

  • Integrate a foundational knowledge of all areas of data science (General Computing Knowledge). 
  • Apply fundamental principles and practices of data science (Data Science Principles and Practices).  
  • Apply critical and ethical thinking to solve problems in data science (Critical and Ethical Thinking).
