Web Systems Development, Undergraduate Certificate

The Undergraduate Certificate in Web Systems Development (WebSysDev) is designed for individuals seeking to develop marketable skills grounded in the principles of web systems development and to provide a solid foundation for further education in the information systems field. Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will have gained a mastery of foundational skills in the areas of operating systems, network, programming, and database technologies, and full-stack development for both frontend and backend to build a career in the field of web systems development. 

The Undergraduate Certificate in Web Systems Development will prepare students to:

  • Integrate a foundational knowledge of all areas of web systems development (General Computing Knowledge).
  • Apply fundamental principles and practices of web systems development (Web Systems Development Principles and Practices).
  • Apply critical and ethical thinking to solve problems in web systems development (Critical and Ethical Thinking).
