Looking at particular geopolitical regions of the world, they will investigate how financial managers of firms, subsidiaries, or operations across national borders need special knowledge and techniques to cope with a variety of economic and political risks, regulations, and business practices. The course will also cover currency exchange rates and their associated risks, financing alternatives for different types of cross-border entites, and how distinct methods for capital budgeting and the valuation and management of assets may be required for international operations.
