ELP 085 Academic and Professional Writing
This course is designed to help advanced learners of English improve the quality of their academic and professional writing. Emphasis is placed on writing persuasively and supporting ideas with academic and professional sources. Students learn to write according to academic and business writing conventions. Practical applications of these principles include writing business correspondence and a short research report.Prerequisites: Completion of ELP 80 and 81 with a grade of 2.5 or higher.
