ELP 73A Advanced Communications I: Introduction to Literature and Composition
This course is designed to introduce advanced learners of English to formal essay writing and to the analysis of various forms of literature. Emphasis will be placed on writing literary analyses and developing the necessary skills to be a critical reader. Writing assignments will focus on major strategies of fiction prose.Course Entry Requirements: Successful completion of ELP 61 and 62, an iTEP score of 4, or a TOEFL score of 520
