ERL 556 Child and Adolescent Literature
This course examines the use of literature as part of a P-12 literacy program. Candidates explore a variety of genres, the various features of each, and the ways in which each can enhance literacy instruction. Candidates also examine the ways in which the selection of literature affects reading motivation and reading engagement as a means to support a balanced literacy program.Course Entry Requirements: Admitted to MED program or by Program Directors Approval.
