EML 486 Ratios and Proportional Relationships

Math endorsement students develop conceptual understanding of and procedural facility with ratio concepts and ratio reasoning. Topics include: ratio relationships between two quantities, unit rates, rate language, representations (e.g., tables, tape diagrams, double number line diagrams, equations), multistep ratio and percent problems.   Upon successful completion of this course, students have content knowledge to help K-12 students become college and career ready in ratios and proportions.
