MBA 551 Entrepreneurship and the Art of Creative Thinking
This course approaches entrepreneurship as a creative process, something typically learned in the arts, not in business school. Creativity is characterized by the ability to see the world in new ways and is a process ready to be unlocked within each person. It can include observing, editing, strong branding and brainstorming, and networking. Students will be guided through the concept of thinking like a startup of their own career, founder of a business, or leader of a department. Additional topics include product/service development, managing customer experiences, entrepreneurial leadership, innovation strategies and methods, and leading creative teams.
