EML 486 Ratios and Proportional Relationships
Math endorsement students develop conceptual understanding of and procedural facility with ratio concepts and ratio reasoning. Topics include: ratio relationships between two quantities, unit rates, rate language, representations (e.g., tables, tape diagrams, double number line diagrams, equations), multi-step ratio and percent problems. Upon successful completion of this course, students have content knowledge to help K-12 students become college and career ready in ratios and proportions.
