COUN 805 CES Dissertation Independent

In this course students finalize a proposal, the detailed introduction, literature review, and methodology chapters of their dissertation. Working with their dissertation committee, students will conduct, analyze, and write the results section of the research project, and will finalize all dissertation chapters. Students will submit and orally defend to their committee their finalized dissertation and incorporate any additional requirements identified by the committee.

Students must successfully pass COUN 790 prior to enrolling in this course.

Outcomes

  1. This course will prepare students to:
  2. a) Develop a dissertation proposal for a particular research idea.
  3. b) Defend and finalize their dissertation.
