DIT 610 Information Technology Policy and Governance

In alignment with the strategic direction of an organization, students will address the need to establish an appropriate list of policies and procedures to guide the governance of information technology (IT) materials and their usage. Students will learn how to set appropriate governing policies to ensure the ethical use of IT tools. They will also establish and enforce service level agreements that support the needs of the organization. Legal issues related to IT policies and governance will also be examined.
