HL 661 Capstone - Practicum *

This healthcare administration practicum capstone course provides students with healthcare-related learning, either through an experiential project or a written research article. Whether through a project-based experience within a healthcare environment or a written research paper that focuses on a healthcare-related problem, students have the opportunity gain specific healthcare related skills. Deliverables for an experiential project are contingent upon the site but may include project reports, reflection papers, and evaluations by their site supervisor. Deliverables for the research paper may include an identification of a root problem and potential solutions with recommendations. By the end of the course students have developed a deeper understanding of the field of healthcare administration.
