ELL 412 ELL Strategies and Assessment

This course will focus on ELL strategies and assessment to support ELL learners in the P-12 classroom. Through this course students will explore the cross-cultural factors that influence second language learners and investigate what instructional practices and materials are best suited in their learning environment. They will also utilize best practices such as cooperative learning, cross-cultural testing, peer teaching, and methods for integrating content and language to best support ELL learners.
