ISEC 605 Cybersecurity Auditing

This course focuses on the methodology for auditing cybersecurity system controls and assists students in exploring the opportunities and challenges of being an information system auditor.  This course explains the technology and auditing involved with securing modern computer systems, as well as providing an understanding of risks, control objectives, and standards. This course examines how companies ensure cybersecurity is protecting their information assets from hackers and others who desire to harm the organization. Topics include IT governance, IT management, the audit process, IT life cycle management, IT service management, IT service continuity, and information asset protection.
