MAL 650 Capstone and Preparation for Leadership Project, Practicum Exp, or Internship

This course integrates your learning from the Leading Change through Whole-system Thinking and Coaching; and the Global Leadership through Technology and Communication Management core learning. You will produce a final project, practicum experience, or internship that synthesizes leadership concepts from all program courses. This will allow you to practically apply your learning to a real-life leadership situation. You will submit your proposal for your leadership project, practicum experience, or internship which will become your culminating practical application assignment in the Master of Arts in Leadership program.

Outcomes

1. This course will prepare students to:
2. Demonstrate leadership by facilitating a presentation of 10 leadership core concepts, knowledge, and skills. Summative assessment of student learning from MA in Leadership program.
3. Integrate leadership skills from the MA in Leadership courses to develop solutions to organizational problems.
4. Investigate and solve a “real” organizational problem. Summative assessment of student learning of MA in Leadership program outcomes.
5. Apply program outcomes from MA in Leadership classes to the workplace.
