This MBA program provides a cutting-edge framework of the emerging skills, knowledge and tools demanded of  today’s business enterprises. The program was developed in partnership with business leaders from key industries who provided valuable input regarding what graduate business professionals need to cultivate and master within themselves and an organization. Courses provide focus on emerging business challenges such as  utilizing self-cultivation for management, design thinking for innovation, law and governing the modern business, leadership, influence, currency of trust, digital marketing and analytics, financial control and  reporting, data-driven decision making, ethics and social impact, and entrepreneurship and the art of creative  thinking.

Admission Requirements

In addition to the general admission requirements for graduate programs, found under Admissions in the catalog menu, applicants to this program should hold a bachelor degree in a business-related field. Those that do not must complete the pre-requisite course MBA 11 Common Professional Components.

The MBA emphasis in Data Analytics follows a commonly accepted data analytics lifecycle beginning by showing students how to frame business problems, establish analysis plans, and acquire and process data sets. Students will learn how to organize data projects to meet organizational and/or stakeholder needs by effectively utilizing resources and expertise. Students will also learn how to build, deploy and report on appropriate data models to track their performance over the long-term thereby ensuring ongoing stake holder satisfaction. The courses will prepare students to sit for the Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) Exam https://www.certifiedanalytics.org/.
