EDU 316 Content: Planning and Instruction
This course examines the basic principles of instructional design and delivery. The course emphasizes student centered instructional design including assessment of the student learning context, best practices, essential learnings, Common Core standards, and differentiation. The course introduces candidates to elements of effective planning and instruction including positive inclusion of cultural and community assets of students and families. This course includes introduction to state requirements for certification (edTPA, TPEP, etc.).
