IS 452 Backend Web Development

Full-stack development consists of two components – frontend and backend. Backend web development prepares the student to develop the server-side application systems, including server-side controllers, routers, business processes, and their accesses to the database. Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts and models of backend web application development so that they understand the underlying processes related to building functioning applications and the complexity of full-stack web application development. This course prepares students to use the latest tools and applications in backend frameworks.
