Public Accounting, Graduate Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Public Accounting prepares students for the professional challenges of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Completion provides the depth and breadth of knowledge required to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accounting (CPA) examination that will enable students to function productively in a CPA firm.
CPA licensing requirements vary by state. It is recommended that you first seek guidance from the appropriate state board of accountancy in your home state before taking coursework. A complete list of state licensing boards is located at state-professional-credential-licensure-contact-information.pdf (cityu.edu).
