CS 452 Backend Web Development

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and models of backend web application development. Topics include development of server-side application systems, including server-side controllers, routers, business processes, and access to the database components. Students leave understanding the underlying processes related to building functioning applications and the complexity of full-stack web application development using the latest tools and applications in backend frameworks.

For students to succeed in this course, CS132, IS 312 and IS 360 are required pre-requisites.
