MATH 100 Number Sense and Computation Skills

This course introduces number sense and computation skills for applying mathematics to real-world scenarios. Topics include standard notation, basic math operations, rounding and estimating, simplifying expressions, solving equations, mathematical problem solving, exponential notation, and order of operations. This course covers prerequisite knowledge and skills necessary for prealgebra mathematics and prepares students for success in college mathematics.
