CPC 551 Comprehensive Exam-Alberta, Canada
The Comprehensive Examination, abbreviated as "Comps", is a specific examination not linked to a particular course and measures students' competency and master of concepts in the field of Counselling. This knowledge test occurs after students have completed required core coursework and before they start their Capstone and Practicum courses as well as their internships.
Successful completion of the Comps is mandatory prior to enrolling in CPC 695 and CPC 654.
Prerequisite
Completion of the Master of Counselling core courses. Any exceptions must have special permission from the Master of Counselling Program Director.
