CY 545 Data Privacy and Security

Technology professionals consider data privacy and security issues throughout the data life cycle process which includes when to acquire, process and produce data. This course covers how domestic and international privacy rights impact a company’s responsibilities for all phases of data management and how to share and protect sensitive information. Upon completing this course students engage with advanced concepts, strategies, and ethical considerations related to safeguarding data at rest, during processing, and in transit.
