TESOL 515 TESOL Essentials

This course is an introductory look into the essential principles, methods, and vital concepts that comprise the basis of English language teaching pedagogy. TESOL Essentials course topics include second language acquisition theory, teaching strategies for the five skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, and Grammar), materials and assessment development, and classroom management. After completing this course, students will have gained the skills and knowledge necessary to begin teaching abroad in their designated TESOL placement.
