ELP 89 Academic Listening and Speaking *
In this course, advanced learners of English develop listening comprehension and speaking skills for academic and professional settings. Emphasis is placed on listening, presentation, and discussion skills. Other topics include practice and improvement of pronunciation, grammar, impromptu speaking, critical thinking, note-taking, and teamwork.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of
ELP 80, 81, and 85 with a grade of 2.5 or higher.
