BUS 457 Enterprise Analytics

In this class students explore cutting-edge technologies to obtain the skills needed for data-driven decision-making in contemporary business environments. The first part covers fundamental concepts, including an introduction to enterprise analytics, data collection and preparation, exploratory data analysis, predictive analytics, and data mining and machine learning. This foundational knowledge sets the stage for the second part, which focuses on practical applications in key domains, such as marketing, health care, financial, and retail analytics. Emphasizing enterprise analytics as a powerful tool for business leaders, the course enables students to access, organize, and leverage enterprise-wide data from multiple sources, fostering quick processing of large datasets and uncovering valuable trends.
