EMBA 615 Mergers and Acquisitions
In the mergers and acquisitions class, EMBA 615, students study concepts and methods related to combining two or more companies into a single entity. M&A basics, due diligence, valuation, integration planning, deal structuring, legal and regulatory issues, and post-merger management are introduced and evaluated. Students will develop methods on how to research and evaluate potential target companies, determine their fair value, negotiate and finalize M&A deals, manage cultural differences, and achieve performance targets. The class will also cover the legal and regulatory requirements involved in M&A, including anti-trust regulations and SEC reporting requirements.
