EMBA 575 Entrepreneurship

The entrepreneurship class, EMBA 575, is a comprehensive study of the process of starting and running a successful start-up business. Specific topics covered include entrepreneur leadership tools, creative techniques for idea generation, analytical techniques and tests for new products and services.  Our class addresses a wide range of topics, including the definition and characteristics of entrepreneurship, the generation and evaluation of business ideas, the development of a comprehensive business plan, marketing and sales strategies, financing and funding options, operations and management practices, legal and regulatory issues, and provides real-world cases of successful and unsuccessful start-up businesses.
